Fail Safe

While the text on the image above may sound like some horror movie (or cheesy sci-fi at the worst), I actually picked it up from one of Maria Popova’s articles. It’s about being courageous enough to traverse the path less-travelled, not in the general sense because not all of us grew up in the same environment. My family is different from yours. My society is different from yours. What is frowned upon by my set may very well be ignored or not at all unusual in yours. Whatever the case may be, whether you’re an artist trapped in a boxed world due to expectations or a writer who feels like he/she must live according to the norms and therefore repress hisher true nature and calling, this article is for you.
